Ennis Alumni Scholarships Available -  See attachments at the bottom of this list.

 

The Jack and Madalyn Scully Scholarship ($750) is intended for college sophomores, juniors and seniors majoring in education.  Applicants must write a letter stating current educational situation as well as future educational and career goals.  Send application to Scully Scholarship Committee, Ennis High School, Box 517, Ennis, MT 59729.  Deadline is May 1, 2013.

 

The Madison Valley Education Association (MVEA) is again offering a $350 scholarship for Ennis alumni majoring in education.  Applicants must have a junior or senior standing in college.  MVEA scholarship applications are available from the Ennis High School counselor's office.  Deadline is May 1, 2013.  Return applications to MVEA Scholarship Committee, Box 517, Ennis, MT 59729.

 

Madison Valley Woman's Club is offering scholarships to alumni of Ennis High School who are attending or will attend post-secondary schools.  There are no restrictions on majors and students may apply for the scholarship in following years, however the most one student can receive throughout college years is $3,000. 

Applications are available at the Nearly New store and the Ennis High School counseling office.  Applications must be postmarked by April 15, 2013 and sent to Madison Valley Woman's Club, Scholarship Committee Chair, P.O. Box 122, Ennis, MT 59729. Remember that college transcripts must be received for the applications to be considered.  See attachments for application copies.

 

The Ennis Arts Association   is offering scholarships to graduating seniors and alumni of Ennis High School who are pursuing an arts-related curriculum.  There are three scholarships available in the amounts of $700, $350, and $350.  Applications are available at the Ennis High School counseling office.  Return applications to:  Ennis Arts Association Scholarship Chairman, P.O. The Ennis Arts Association Workshop Scholarships are available at any time to youth and adults on a first-come first-served basis.  An individual may receive ½ of the total cost of a single activity up to $250 or a total of $250 annually.  Applications are due a reasonable time before the activity begins.  Applications are available at the Ennis Library.
