Dear Mustang Families and Ennis Community,

First off, thank you.  We are thrilled to be opening our doors on Monday, August 31st for our students and staff.  Determining the plan and details for reopening has been extremely challenging to say the least.    The staff, administration and school board have spent countless  hours of preparation  and have had to make extremely difficult decisions these past several months.  As I have mentioned before, thank you for your patience, understanding and support.

School will not look the same as it did a year ago, we know that.  We feel that our reopening plan (on school website) is solid with the understanding that it will more than likely change.    Our goal is to keep our school  doors open.  We all need to follow the procedures in place that have been adopted and approved by the district.  We need our families and community to support our plans and our school in order for us to move in a positive direction.  We ask for your understanding and to refrain from judgement and speculation.   It is understandable that not all folks will agree with the procedures and policies adopted for our reopening, which we respect.   I do know that we   can all agree that we want our school doors to remain open, so let's do all we can to make that happen and work with each other, not against.

We encourage people to call the school if they need clarification on our reopening and to ask questions. In addition, please check out or school website at   to keep up to date on new information.    It is also encouraged to download the Ennis Mustangs mobile app on your devices.

Thanks again for your support and let's have a great school year!
