Ennis School District #52 is currently seeking applications for a grades 6-8 English Language Arts teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate educator to make connections with all students and have a positive impact not only on their learning, but their lives.
Ennis is a large Class C school with approximately 390 students grades K-12. Ennis is located in the heart of the Madison Valley SW of Bozeman approximately 50 miles with spectacular views of the Madison Range, Tobacco Root Mountains, and the Gravelly Range. Recreational opportunities are endless and right out your back door. In addition, we are 75 miles north of Yellowstone Park and 110 miles south of Helena.
The town of Ennis offers several amenities including a grocery store, several shops and restaurants, churches, movie theater, and two banks. The community of Ennis is very supportive of the school, staff and students.
Applicants must be Montana certified and endorsed or able to obtain. It is preferred that the applicant be certified in English Language Arts 5-12 to have the ability to teach a HS ELA course if a future need arises. The successful applicant must have a favorable state and federal background check.
Starting salary is per the salary schedule and we honor 6 years teaching experience. Benefits include up to $740/month for health insurance, $50,000 life insurance policy, 5 personal days, 15 sick days, and working with an incredible professional staff and great kids. All bus drivers are subject to pre-employment drug testing and must be part of our random testing program as required by DOT. Must successfully pass a state and federal background check. We are searching for full time and part time custodians to work year round. Custodial duties include, but are not limited to: cleaning classrooms, bathrooms, windows, floors, painting, moving furniture, etc. During the school year the shifts are Monday-Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm.
