CERTIFIED POSITIONS -SPECIAL EDUCATION 7-12

Ennis Schools is actively seeking enthusiastic, driven, and passionate applicants for a 7-12 Special Education position for the 2024-2025 school year. The normal caseload for this grade span is around 12-15 students. Ennis Schools is a member of the Madison-Gallatin Special Education Cooperative.

Ennis Schools has approximately 440 students K-12 with 125 students in the HS. The school district is well known for its professional staff, supportive community, great work environment, and awesome students.

Ennis is located in beautiful southwest Montana 50 miles south of Bozeman and 70 miles north of Yellowstone Park. Ennis is nestled right next to the world famous Madison River with breathtaking views of the Madison Range, Gravelly Range, and Tobacco Root Mountains. Countless recreational activities such as world class fishing, hunting, skiing, camping, and hiking are literally right out your back door!

The town of Ennis offers several amenities including several shops, restaurants, grocery stores, bowling alley, movie theater, two banks, a lumber yard, hospital, and so much more.

Starting salary will range between $35,000 to $65,000. The district will honor up to 15 years teaching experience. In addition, Ennis Schools offers EXCELLENT benefits including up to $740/month for health insurance, life insurance and 15 discretionary days. CLASSIFIED POSITIONS

Assistant District Secretary

Ennis School District #52 is actively seeking applicants for  an assistant secretary for the remainder of this school year (preferably) and for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is seasonal and requires two weeks before the school year and two weeks after the school year, with the summers off. Hourly rate will range between $15.55-$18.35/hr. and offers up to $740/month health insurance (12 month benefit). Other benefits include PERS retirement system, sick and vacation leave accrual, life insurance policy, and same days off as the students. Head of Maintenance

Ennis School District #52 is actively seeking applicants for  a Head of Maintenance for the 2024-2025 school year. This position starts July 1. This position is 40-50 hours a week and a 260 day contract. Starting salary is $65,000, but must be boiler certified and offers up to $740/month health insurance. If the successful candidate is not boiler certified, the salary will be $60,000. Once boiler certification is obtained, the salary will be increased to $65,000. Other benefits include PERS retirement system, sick and vacation leave accrual, life insurance policy, personal days, and holiday pay. Successful applicants are subject to a federal and state background check. Essential duties of the position include, but are are not limited to the following: snow removal(including parking lots, sidewalks, playground stairs, and entrances), performing daily boiler checks, maintenance of all school buildings, managing all systems (fire, emergency, etc.) managing, scheduling, and evaluating custodians, preparing boilers for inspection, maintain and keep all equipment in good working order, work closely with the athletic director and administration on facility uses, etc.

Transportation Director/Route Driver

Ennis School District #52 is actively seeking applicants for  a Transportation Director/Route Driver for the 2024-2025 of this school year. This position is 40 hours/week and a 260 day contract. Hourly rate will start at $29/hour and offers up to $740/month health insurance . Other benefits include PERS retirement system, sick and vacation leave accrual, life insurance policy, personal days, and holiday pay. Essential duties of the position include, but are are not limited to the following: prepare all buses (including light maintenance) for inspection, manage and evaluate all drivers (activity, route, and sub drivers), work closely with the athletic director in scheduling activity trips, work closely with the district secretary in OPI reporting, ensure all drivers are qualified, maintain the bus barn property (cleaning the facility, plowing the vicinity outside the barn), washing buses as needed, ordering supplies, training potential drivers, etc. We are hoping to combine this position with a morning and afternoon bus route.

Successful applicants must have, or be able to obtain, a commercial driver's license and a Montana school bus driver certificate. Successful applicants are subject to a DOT physical, be certified in first aide and CPR, obtain a federal and state background check, and must be part of our random testing program as required by DOT. Route Bus Drivers - BONUSES and INCENTIVES AVAILABLE ! SEE BELOW!

The district will provide the following incentives and bonuses in the following phases for those obtaining certification:

Phase #1 - All class materials will be paid for by the district. Upon approval of hire by the Trustees, a $1000 bonus will be paid to the employee.

Phase #2 - Upon successful passing of all written tests and classroom test taking, a $1500 bonus will be paid to the employee.

Phase #3 - Upon successful passing of the skills test and road test, a $1500 bonus will be paid to the employee.

Phase #4 - Upon completing 6 months of employment, a $1500 bonus will be paid to the employee.

Ennis School District #52 is actively seeking applicants for  Bus Route Drivers for the 2024-2025 school year. Successful applicants must have, or be able to obtain, a commercial driver's license and a Montana school bus driver certificate. This position is approximately 4 to 4.5 hours/day, hourly base wage is $25.00/hr, and offers prorated health insurance for 20 or more hours/week. We are willing to combine this position with a custodial/kitchen helper position to make it 40 hours a week!
