CLASSIFIED POSITIONS

Route Bus Drivers - OPEN UNTIL FILLED

Ennis School District #52 is actively seeking applicants for  Bus Route Drivers for the 2022-2023 school year. Successful applicants must have, or be able to obtain, a commercial driver's license and a Montana school bus driver certificate. This position is approximately 4 to 4.5 hours/day, hourly base wage is $25.00/hr, and offers prorated health insurance for 20 or more hours/week. We are willing to combine this position with a custodial/kitchen helper position to make it 40 hours a week! Successful applicants are subject to a federal and state background check and must be part of our random testing program as required by DOT. After School Program Workers

Colt Club Workers: Ennis School District #52 is looking for people interested in working with students in the K-5 After School Program (Colt Club) program for the 2023-2024 school year. Colt Club runs from 3:30-4:30 Monday through Thursday throughout the school year. Workers are needed from 3:15-4:45 to assist the Colt Club Coordinator in the daily program operations. The position is approximately 1.5 hours/day Monday - Thursday with an hourly base wage of $15/hour. Successful applicants must pass a federal and state background check before beginning work. Colt Club Coordinator: Ennis School District #52 is looking for someone interested in coordinating the K-5 Colt Club afterschool program for the 2023-2024 school year. Colt Club runs from 3:30-4:30 Monday through Thursday throughout the school year. The coordinator organizes the program, schedules workers, and helps manage daily operations each day from 3:15 -4:45. The position is paid for 2 hours/day Monday - Thursday with an hourly base wage of $17/hour. There may be opportunity to split the coordinator position with another individual if needed. GROWW Coordinator

Ennis School District #52 is looking for a GROWW Coordinator.

Background: The GROWW coordinator position is created and funded by a community partnership including Madison Farm to Fork (MF2F), Madison Conservation District (MCD), and Ennis School District (ESD). The position was originally a result of four years of work in the school system by two AmeriCorps positions: Food Corps and Big Sky Watershed Corps. These positions successfully established a secure foundation of curriculum in the school system, supported by administration, teachers, and parents. The GROWW program has been functioning in full capacity for the past four years, serving the youth of the Madison Valley during the school year, as well as during the summer months through our Good Thymes Camp.

Summary of Position: The sponsoring partners are hiring an education coordinator position to provide necessary support for garden, natural resources, outdoor, watershed, and wildlife programs in partnership with Ennis School District. The curriculum, infrastructure, and local support are already in place and embraced by the school system and community. The position will be responsible for conducting education activities in classrooms and garden; field trips to local farms, rivers, forests and National Parks; teacher workshops; and occasional promotional/ engagement events.

Position Details: The position will require an average of 25 hours/week. The actual in person hours are currently scheduled from noon-3pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with very FLEXIBLE prep time. The position will be paid $18.00 per hour. Paid time off and health insurance are not provided at this time.
