Dr. H2O visited Mr. Overstreet's 4th grade science class on 9/28/18 to teach students about the importance of water in our world, water contamination, and how to clean polluted water. On September 13 the 4th grade classes took a field trip to the Jeffers garden to harvest the corn they planted as 3rd graders last spring. At the April 2018 school board meeting, Trustees adopted Policy #3351 which outlines a random drug testing program for students involved in activities. The Madison Valley Medical Center in cooperation with Ennis Schools will be holding sports physicals for grades 6-12 on Wednesday, August 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. No appointment necessary, so just show up at the school cafeteria to check in and pay the fee. As most everyone already knows, the Trustees approved a building project that will add additional storage for our district as well as expand our weight room. Through much discussion during the 2017-2018 school year, the driving force for this project was to increase safety and supervision of students. Baby Animal Day was held at the Jumping Horse Ranch. Several sixth grade students presented their 4-H projects which included a lamb, baby goats, chickens, a calf, and a demonstration on pigs.
