Mrs. Glines' second graders released their butterflies this morning! They received the butterflies as larva on April 23rd, which grew into caterpillars, and then turned into a chrysalis on May 5th. Since that time, the students have been waiting patiently for the butterflies to emerge. The butterflies finally emerged, but unfortunately did so over the weekend while students were out of the building. However, they at least had the opportunity to release the butterflies near the school garden today!

Congratulations to the 5th-8th grade track teams for their awesome performances yesterday at the county track meet. The athletes and parents were treated to a beautiful day and they all competed very well. The 5th-6th Boys team and 7th-8th Girls team each brought home a team trophy.

Thank you to the kitchen staff and elementary staff for putting on Donuts for Dear Ones today, and thank you to everyone who was able to make it in this morning to have a maple bar with their students. We had a great turnout, serving over 300 people!
