Congratulations to 6th grader Hailey Myers on winning the 2025 4th-8th grade Spelling Bee! Congratulations, also, to 7th graders Max Hale and Emmylou Edge for taking 2nd and 3rd place, respectively. The 5th grade students in Mrs. Gerlach's and Mrs. Nelson's classrooms shared some incredible stories for Author's Tea yesterday! The stories their students shared were extremely well written and articulate and a joy to listen to. Thank you to all parents and friends who were able to come and enjoy the event as well!

Just a reminder about the mental health and training resources available to parents through the Cook Center. There are live educational events Mondays through Thursdays from 5-7 p.m. MT time. The live events for each month are always posted on the window outside the elementary office, plus we will post them from time to time on the live feed or news portion of the website.

2nd Semester 4 Day Week reminder: Just a reminder to parents that per our 2024-2025 school calendar, we will have a normal Friday school day this coming Friday, January 10th, but beginning January 17th, school will NOT be in session on Fridays due to our second semester 4 day school week schedule. The only other Fridays we will be in session the second semester will be April 25th and May 30th. Please refer to the attached picture of the 2024-2025 school calendar as a reminder of what the 2nd semester looks like. Information on days not in session can also be found on the events calendar on the school website. In addition, the school district will once again be offering a K-5 Friday Program for the majority of the Fridays school is not in session. More information on the Friday program and how to sign up will be sent out later today or tomorrow. Finally, be watching for information about Friday Little Mustangs from Athletic Director Jordan Overstreet.

K-4 and 5th-12th Concert Appreciation: Thank you to Mrs. McCollom, Mrs. Zucker, the student performers, and their accompanists for putting on two wonderful concerts last week. Thank you to everyone who showed up to support the performers as well, and thank you to the Lions Club for sponsoring Santa's visit again this year. Once again, we had two enjoyable Holiday concerts full of fine music, festivity, and fellowship.
