Mask update for K-4: Due to the number of active Covid-19 cases in Madison County reaching four (4) or more, K-4 students will now follow the same mask directive as grades 5-12 in accordance with directives from the State of Montana. This means K-4 students will be wearing masks considerably more during the day. Teachers will instruct students on the times they can remove their masks according to the directives outlined in Policy 1905.

Our new court is completed! This court is 46×84 with 4 adjustable hoops as well as a full volleyball court. This project was primarily funded through a Land Water Conservation Fund grant awarded in 2019. We are hoping to get this court fenced and lighted this fall. Come check it out!

Elementary students cheered on the "Patriot Parade" on 9/11 to help remember and commemorate Patriot Day. Students and staff chanted USA, USA while people in vehicles honked and waved. It was a great way to start our Friday!

We are one day closer to a brand new basketball and volleyball court at our lower playground. Concrete work will be finished up this week and next week we should have the new court and hoops installed. Going to be nice!

Our lower playground is currently under construction and will have a brand new look! The upgrade will include a new basketball/volleyball court at our lower playground just north of the FB field. The court surface will be a composite surface with school colors, lines, and brand new hoops. The hoops on the main court will be 10' hoops and the side hoops will be lowered to accommodate our younger kids. This project is being funded through a Land Water Conservation Fund grant the district received a year ago.

GO MUSTANGS!! Wow, it was so good to be back to school with a school full of kids. Our enrollment has increased by 22 kids, which is outstanding. This was the first day back since March 13th! The excitement was incredible and I just cannot thank everyone enough. I realize that not everything is perfect, but all we can do is just keep working together and offering as much as support as possible. We ask that you continue being patient and understanding. If you have questions, please give us a call.

Just a reminder that fan attendance to our sporting events is limited at this time to four (4) family members per participating athlete. Masks will be required indoors and will be highly recommended but optional for outdoors at this time. This was agreed upon by the Madison County Schools and the County Board of Health. We will assess fan attendance and keep you updated as we go. We appreciate your understanding.

Dear Ennis Mustang Families and Community,
We want to keep you informed on our plans for reopening school to in person instruction on August 26th. The details of how that will exactly look are adamantly being discussed and worked on. Please know that the decision to reopen schools is a local decision that will be approved by the school board. Currently, we are in Phase II of the Governor's Reopening of the Big Sky Plan and we are following guidance to open up our school in Phase II. Our committee will have a DRAFT plan for the trustees to consider next week. Tentatively, there is a special meeting on Tuesday, July 28th at 5pm to consider a plan for reopening. Please be checking the school website or call for meeting details.
We are using guidance from the Governor's Office, The Montana Office of Public Instruction, the CDC, as well as working with local health officials for reopening. We understand the importance of opening our school up to students and doing our part to keep our students, staff, and community safe.
We encourage you to get the Ennis Mustangs mobile APP on your devices to keep up with the happenings at the school. The APP is in your Google Play or Apple store.
I cannot stress enough how thankful we are for the great community we live in. We are hoping to have a plan approved next week so families can start planning. Your patience and understanding does not go unnoticed.
