
The elementary classes took turns going over to sing carols at the nursing home today during Art Day. You could see the joy on the residents faces as the kids sang. Great job kids!



Congratulations to the K-4 and 5th-12th grade students on the wonderful performances at their two Winter Concerts last night. Mrs. McCollom (K-4 Music Teacher) and Mrs. Zucker (5th-12th Music Teacher) did an excellent job preparing their students for the performances. Thank you also to Jaime Roberts and Heather Brunner for being piano accompanists for the concerts. Thank you to everyone who attended and thank you to the Lion's Club for helping Santa deliver his goodies!





The Christmas Concert is this Wednesday, December 13th in the high school gym. Grades K-4 will begin at 6pm. and grades 5-12 will start at 7:30pm. Please try and find time to attend!

Good morning, just a reminder that picture retakes and class pictures are this Wednesday, Dec. 6th.

The Ennis High Student Council sponsored a food drive in honor of Cat/Griz week. They had students bring in nonperishable food and place it either in a box for the Grizzlies or the Bobcats. A total of 178 pounds of food was collected and donated to the local food bank. The Bobcat fans brought in 108 pounds. Great job Mustangs!

The next School Board Meeting has been changed from Wednesday, December 13th to Thursday, December 14th @ 5:30p.m. to accommodate the School Christmas Concert.

The School Board Meeting for Nov. 8th has been postponed to Nov. 15th @ 5:30 p.m.

Mrs. Hubner's 3rd grade just did their yearly pumpkin math project. Students guesstimate how many pumpkin seeds are in the pumpkin based on the lines on the side of the pumpkin and then group the seeds and count them. Looks like a messy, fun Halloween day project!

Congratulations to the Lady Mustangs on advancing to the Divisional VB tourney in Columbus. They play Joliet this Thursday at 11:45a.m. Also, congratulations to the Mustang Football team on advancing to the state quarterfinals. Winter Gear: Ironically enough, Winter showed up today in full force during our Hawaiian Dress Up Day for Red Ribbon Week! It looks like Winter is here to stay, so please remember to make sure your student comes to school with appropriate gear (winter coat, hat, boots, gloves) for when they go outside to recess. Thank you!

It's playoff and tournament time! Please see the News Section for the brackets! Our boys are the #1 seed from the Central Division and will take on the Charlo Vikings who are the #3 seed out of the Western Division. Kickoff is 1pm this Saturday in Ennis! Our girls VB is the #3 seed and will take on Whitehall Thursday at 10:45 in Manhattan. GO MUSTANGS!

A group of boys decided to build an "ice cream truck" today at recess. It is so fascinating and enjoyable to witness student creativity at school every day. It looks like one little guy is even starting to make some ice cream in the "truck." Great job, boys! Thank you to Mrs. Schultz for taking this photo.
