
The kindergarten students held two performances of the Kindergarten Native American Program yesterday. They performed once for the student body and once for parents. It was great to be able to get this in before the school year was out since it was cancelled over Thanksgiving last fall. They did an excellent job as always - great job Kindergarteners!

Our softball girls fell to Stillwater (Columbus) 2-1 during first round action at the state softball tourney in Florence. Lady Mustangs will play Friday at 12pm against the loser of MAC (Mission/Arlee/Charlo) /Huntley Project game.

Congratulations to our softball girls and coaches on making history and qualifying for the state BC softball tourney! Girls take on Stillwater (Columbus) at 10am Thursday in Florence. Also, Congratulations to the Mustang Track athletes for qualifying for the State C track meet in Missoula this Friday and Saturday. We are proud of you!

Lady Mustang Softball took care of business today at the Western B-C Divisional Tournament and rolled over Loyola 15-5. Lady Mustangs will play at 10am Friday.

The 4th grade students went on their field trip to Logan and Headwaters State Park. Here is a pic of them standing on the buffalo jump!

The Kindergarten took their annual field trip to the Fish Hatchery yesterday. The students and staff want to thank the Fish Hatchery staff for having them and teaching them so much about the hatchery process!



Congratulations to Ms. Kottal and the 5th-12th grade band members for their performances yesterday in the Spring Concert. We can't wait to see what the future holds for Mustang Music - Excellent job!


The Ennis Schools staff would like to thank everyone for the kind gestures during staff appreciation week last week. We are so thankful to live and work in this generous and supportive community. Thank you so much for all you do to support the students, staff, and school district.

Juniors decorated all day yesterday for Prom. So now things are looking rather festive in the high school lobby and gym. Doors will be open for Prom on Saturday, May 8 at 7pm with Grand March starting at 7:30pm. Per School Board directive, only 2 parents per EHS student at Prom are allowed to come in to view the Grand March and it will not be open to the public. Parents are asked to remain in the bleachers. Prom will be over at Midnight. We are looking forward to a fun night of dancing!




The Ennis Mustang spring sports seniors were honored at the softball game in Ennis Wednesday, May 5th. Thank you seniors for your years as Mustangs!

The high school drama kids have put in a long week getting ready for their performances. Last night was dress rehearsal. Today and tomorrow are matinee performances for the junior high and elementary students. Night performances start at 7pm both Thursday and Friday night. If you are planning to attend, please note that masks are required. Adult tickets are $6 and students are $5.




We are actively searching for bus drivers! Currently, there are three (3) route positions open for next year. Starting pay is $17/hr and we will train! Time commitment is approximately 4 hours a day and during the school year only. Please contact Superintendent Casey Klasna if you are interested!

Wylie Connor was awarded the Bronze Medal from Skills USA for his Welding Sculpture he submitted in the Virtual state competition. Please see the News Section for a full write-up. The Skills USA State Director, Mary Heller, awarded Wylie his medal and a welding helmet at school on Monday, April 26.





The 4th graders have been busy learning about Montana History and recently finished learning as much as we can about Lewis and Clark and the Corps of Discovery! We also just finished a rock identification project!

Students have been working hard to memorize their lines for the school play. Performances are the 29th and 30th at 7:00, come support this amazing production of Cheerleaders vs Aliens.
