Salary:  $105,000 - $115,000 (can be negotiated)

Benefits:  District paid health insurance, life insurance, cell phone plan and district housing at a reduced rate.

Job Description:

The Ennis School District in Ennis, Montana has an opening for a District Superintendent starting July 1, 2024.  The five-member Board of Trustees are looking for an individual who shall be responsible for administration of the schools, can provide leadership in developing and maintaining the best possible educational programs and services for students, and work cohesively with the Board and the community.

Ennis, Montana is a beautiful small town located 55 miles southwest of Bozeman and 70 miles north of Yellowstone Park.  Ennis has a population of 970 people and 100,000 trout.  The community hosts many art events and has a wealth of outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, camping, whitewater rafting, hiking, golfing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling.

The district has 417 students K-12, 39 teachers, 3 administrators, and approximately 25 classified staff.  Our leading industries include farming and ranching, tourism, and a talc mine.  Ennis has small town atmosphere with excellent restaurants, a movie theatre, golf course and a bowling alley.

Academic Qualifications:

The qualified applicant needs to have or be in the process of completing his or her administrative licensure including a Superintendent endorsement in the State of Montana.
